Role & Responsibilities of Steering Committee

FABIG activities are guided by a steering committee drawn from the member organisations. The Steering Committee reviews and makes recommendations on:

• Income and expenditure of FABIG,
• FABIG deliverables (Technical Notes, Technical Meetings, Technical Meeting Reviews, Newsletters and Website),
• Ways to collate, disseminate and promote new knowledge on the prevention and mitigation of fires and explosions and on the protection of facilities and personnel against fires and explosions,
• Gaps in knowledge on current and emerging technologies with a view to promote research activities in those areas.
