FABIG traditionally organises 4 Technical Meetings per year on topics relevant to the challenges faced by the energy sector in relation to fire & explosion hazards. These are generally half-day events with presentations from invited industry experts held in Aberdeen, London and
available via webcast. For information on past Technical Meetings, visit the Technical Presentations & Videos section of the website.
We will be organising Lunchtime Webinars every two weeks whilst working life remains disrupted by measures to combat the COVID-19 epidemic. Such measures either prohibit or make inadvisable large meetings such as our traditional Technical Meetings.
Both our Technical Meetings & Webinars are accepted as Continuing Professional Development (CPD) by most engineering institutions, such as the IStructE (Institution of Structural Engineers), IChemE (Institution of Chemical Engineers) and ICE (Institution of Civil Engineers).
Forthcoming external events will be announced shortly.
